Aligning Personal Values, Leadership Behavior, and Organizational Purpose
Most leaders can identify the values of their organization. Far fewer have taken the time to identify the values that guide their own leadership.
As responsibilities grow and competing demands increase, leaders are constantly faced with difficult decisions, tradeoffs, and pressures. In those moments, values shape behavior. When personal values, leadership actions, and organizational expectations become misaligned, trust erodes, decisions become inconsistent, and leaders often struggle to lead with authenticity and clarity.
The challenge is not simply understanding values. It is understanding how values influence leadership and how great leaders align their personal principles with the mission, culture, and values of the organizations they serve.
This course helps leaders identify the values that shape their own leadership while exploring how those values connect to the broader purpose, culture, and expectations of their organization.
Through reflection, discussion, assessment, and application, participants gain a deeper understanding of how values influence decision-making, relationships, trust, and leadership effectiveness. The result is a practical framework for leading with greater authenticity, consistency, and purpose.
Participants leave with a clearer understanding of the values that influence their leadership and the impact those values have on others. Keynote audiences gain a new perspective on the relationship between values, leadership, and organizational culture. Workshop participants identify their personal leadership values and learn practical approaches for aligning behavior, decisions, and priorities with those values.
Leadership teams participating in extended workshops or retreats often leave with greater clarity around shared leadership expectations and the role values play in shaping culture and performance.
