LEADING CHANGE

Building Adoption Before Implementation

Frequently Asked Questions

We believe the right work starts with the right questions.
What is S2A’s Change Leader Model?

The Change Leader Model is a repeatable seven-stage framework for leading change from initial concept through sustained execution. It helps leaders align key stakeholders, understand sources of influence and resistance, build adoption, communicate with greater intention, and reinforce the change over time. The framework can be applied to strategic, operational, cultural, or technology-driven initiatives.

What does it mean to build adoption before implementation?

Building adoption means engaging the people who will influence whether a change gains momentum before asking the broader organization to act. Leaders learn to identify key stakeholders, understand sources of support and resistance, use trusted relationships, and create the clarity and confidence people need to move forward. The goal is not unanimous agreement. It is enough understanding, trust, and commitment to make successful implementation possible.

How does the program change the way leaders approach change?

Participants stop treating change as a communication plan attached to an implementation schedule. They learn to lead it as a deliberate process that begins with stakeholder alignment and continues through adoption, execution, and reinforcement. Using S2A’s seven-stage approach, leaders can apply the same discipline to change initiatives of any size.
