IGNITE: DEVELOPING FUTURE LEADERS

A Rotational Mentorship Experience for Accelerating Leadership Growth

Frequently Asked Questions

We believe the right work starts with the right questions.
Why does IGNITE use multiple mentoring rotations?

A single mentor can offer valuable guidance, but no one leader can provide every perspective an emerging leader needs. IGNITE gives participants four distinct mentoring relationships over the course of a year, exposing them to different experiences, leadership styles, career paths, and parts of the organization. Each rotation expands the participant’s perspective while building a broader network of mentors, advocates, and trusted relationships.

How structured is the mentorship experience?

IGNITE provides enough structure to make each relationship purposeful without scripting every conversation. Participants and mentors receive guidance, suggested discussion topics, shared experiences, and professional development activities throughout the year. The cohort model also creates opportunities for participants to learn from one another and connect their individual experiences to broader leadership development.

What does the organization gain from the program?

IGNITE does more than develop individual participants. It strengthens relationships across levels, functions, offices, generations, and backgrounds. Organizations benefit from greater knowledge transfer, stronger belonging, broader access to senior leaders, and a more connected pipeline of future leaders prepared for increasing responsibility.
